ABOUT THE POSITION :
The Opening & Closing Lead Technician is the leader responsible for opening, closing, and winterizing our customer’s commercial and residential pools and spas and frequently has one helper assigned to them to assist on their assigned routes.
NO WEEKENDS – Shift is M-F, starting at 7 : 00a.m. During peak season, (Spring / Fall), our technicians work between 50-60 hours per week with all work over 40 hours each week at 1.5x hourly rate.
Our service department typically works nine (9) months a year (March-November).
COMPENSATION :
20.00 / hr. base wage minimum for our Opening & Closing Lead Technicians with increases based on skills, performance, and tenure .
Year-End Bonus Potential - paid based on the employee’s performance and the company’s success.
PLUS, a savings of $6,300 in healthcare insurance ( 100% EMPLOYER PAID individual healthcare insurance premiums after 60 days when working during season and 100% EMPLOYER PAID individual Dental insurance premiums after 90 days when working during season).
4% company paid 401k match (requires employee to elect and make a 5% contribution).

Requirements : ABOUT YOU :
Requirements for Opening & Closing Lead Technicians :
Able to perform minor pool repairs : electrical and light plumbing.
Able to drive and lead customer interaction.
Knowledge and experience with pool automation systems, including automatic controllers.
Knowledge and experience of pool water circulation equipment and setting or replacing system components.
Knowledge and experience of water chemistry and balancing.
Knowledge and experience of opening and closing pools, removing, installing winter safety covers.
Additional Requirements :
Requires ability to ambulate, use of both arms and legs, bending, and lifting buckets and boxes of chemicals and supplies.
Be at our facility in Erlanger, KY, M-F, ready to work at 7 : 00A.M, work required overtime.
A criminal background check is required, but a criminal record does not necessarily negate employment.
Clean motor vehicle report and current driver's license required to be insured and operate company vehicle. Basic technology skills for job routing and documentation.
Drug screens are NOT required for employment but can be required subsequently if warranted.
