POSITION TITLE : SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
FLSA STATUS : EXEMPT
LOCATION : ERLANGER, KY

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to manage construction projects from inception to completion.
The overall responsibility of the Senior Project Manager position is to effectively lead construction projects from initial concept through final completion. Duties include managing the contracts, the Mid-American team, subcontractors, clients, and budget, so that Mid-American has a profitable project, and our customers have an exceptional result and experience. Project Managers work in tandem and collaboratively with Construction Superintendents to ensure projects are completed on schedule and on budget with attention to quality.

Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning / Initiation
Review and negotiation of work scopes and contracts.
Create cost estimates and budget breakdowns as needed.
Review and understand drawings and contract documents, submissions, specifications, changes, and document control.
Obtain local licenses, certifications, and certificates of insurance to meet customer’s requirements.
Budget, Resource, and Schedule Management
Responsible for budget and ultimate financial condition of project.
Responsible for utilizing project management software to plan projects and communicate with the team with up-to-date information about each prospective and active project.
Review billing requirements, pay applications and invoices with accounting department, design professionals and clients.
Setting up and issuing documentation for pricing and change administration.
Assist with material procurement and expediting deliveries, as needed.
Execution and Monitoring
Negotiate modifications with customers, designers, and subcontractors through effective communication and contract management.
Maintain project management software and support billing activities.
Risk Management and Problem Resolution
Maintain and protect company confidentiality.
Ensure construction activities adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Monitor and ensure contract requirements with subcontractors.
Stakeholder Communication
Serve as a point of contact for customers and other stakeholders.
Effectively lead meetings to ensure the company’s interests are protected while promoting relationship-based service to our clients and designers.
Maintain open lines of effective communication and provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Project Closure
Lead project close-out efforts including final billings, warranties, close-out documentation, and punch list completion.
Ensure the successful handover of the project, including documentation, training, and operational readiness.
Continuous Improvement
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending appropriate training.
Team Leadership : Contribute positively to the team by setting examples of professionalism, loyalty, conscientiousness, and dependability.
Mentor others on the construction team.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in managing construction projects.
Proven history of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and project management methodologies.
Excellent organization, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software knowledge
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working commercial construction projects.
Personnel management experience.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in JobTread or other leading construction project management software programs.

- 20% annual bonus target, pro-rata for period hired in 2025, annually awarded for full calendar years following.
- Discretionary in the beginning but moving to driven off project management, profitability, management KPIs.
