We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our General Contracting Division. In this role, you’ll support both our government and specialty project teams. It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in their career, gain exposure to a wide range of projects, and work closely with experienced leaders who are invested in your development.
What You’ll Do:
As an APM, you’ll be involved in every stage of the construction process from preconstruction through closeout. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day coordination and execution of projects.
- Helping maintain project schedules, budgets, and key documentation like submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Communicating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to keep work moving smoothly.
- Participating in site visits and meetings to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Assisting with procurement, subcontractor onboarding, and tracking compliance items.
- Working with internal teams to support project billing, reporting, and overall performance.
- Staying organized, anticipating what’s needed next, and helping the team stay one step ahead.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally with a general contractor.
- A solid understanding of construction documents, project phases, and job site logistics.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office; experience with Trimble software is a plus.
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and be a dependable teammate.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is helpful, but not required if you have the right experience and attitude.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
