We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for our wireless and fabrication division. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, managing client relationships, and developing strategies to expand our market presence. The BDM will work closely with company leadership, operations, and sales teams to create and implement effective business development initiatives.
Requirements
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the telecommunications and fabrication industries.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
- Generate and qualify leads through existing relationships, cold calls, in-person meetings, and networking events.
- Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and collaborate with leadership to develop winning proposals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
Marketing & Market Intelligence
- Formulate and execute marketing strategies in collaboration with the CEO and Sales Executive.
- Track industry trends, competitive activity, and market intelligence to refine business strategies.
- Develop and manage marketing and advertising content for various channels.
- Present relevant business proposals that align with client needs and company objectives.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Oversee and contribute to the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) process to track leads and sales activities.
- Maintain a strong industry network and follow up with clients post-project completion to foster repeat business.
Performance & Reporting
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts, including probability percentages and pipeline status updates.
- Evaluate sales performance by assessing wins and losses to refine future selling strategies.
- Ensure deadlines and deliverables are met through strong organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications and Skills Needed for Success
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in telecommunications, steel fabrication, or construction.
- Strong track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong market knowledge and ability to identify unique value propositions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in customer support and after-sales service is a plus.
