About the Role:
Mid Atlantic Dairy Queen, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. Mid Atlantic Dairy Queen, LLC operates 15 Dairy Queens throughout Hampton Roads. This is a traveling position, and the successful candidate will perform the job at all of the locations, including the home office. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. Your main goal will be to maintain and repair all minor electrical and plumbing systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a maintenance role
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, precision measuring, painting, and tile repair
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and carpentry work
- Troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical and plumbing systems
- Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and facilities
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
Skills:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your skills in plumbing, precision measuring, drywall, carpentry, and electrical wiring on a daily basis. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems will be essential in ensuring that our facilities and equipment are functioning efficiently and safely.
Hourly pay negotiable with experience.
