INDUSTRIAL FOREMAN JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY
MAIC is looking for an individual with supervisory experience in heavy industrial construction that can lead crews and jobs to success. This foreman role will require the following responsibilities, competencies and experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily coordination with the superintendent and project engineer to layout the daily and weekly tasks for the assigned project(s).
- Ability to interpret plan view and elevation view drawings to understand the project.
- Oversee the execution of the work to include process equipment installation, structural platform erection, and process and utility piping. Pipe work will be working with welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel.
- Assist with project buy-out for supplied materials, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure project specifications are adhered to. Seek clarification through the project engineer when needed.
- Track specific work hour budgets on a project-by-project basis and identify out of scope changes, communicating to the project engineer.
- This assignment requires a minimum of 40 hours per week (Mon-Thurs on a 4-10’s schedule subject to change on as need basis) with the opportunity, and requirement to work overtime as needed. Some work is required to be performed on night shift.
- Represent the company with integrity and honesty in all aspects of the job.
- Daily and weekly documentation of hours and safety meetings.
- Other duties, as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 Years previous construction experience, in a supervisory leadership role in the industrial trades.
- Understanding of plans and specifications.
- Understanding of P&IDs and Pipe ISOs.
- Reliable transportation with active driver’s license.
- US Citizen and/or Green Card Verified

- Selective Demolition of items described above.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
