MALTC has recently added several communities throughout the Newport News area and we need for additional primary care support. New grads welcome for those with acute and chronic disease management experience.
We are seeing more acute issues in our communities which requires more time spent with our patients. We are looking to increase our provider presence in our busier communities by adding providers to create a better work-life balance.

Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care, a provider owned company, is seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our practice in the beautiful Hampton Roads region of Virginia. We are a group of over 150 providers currently serving over 140 Long Term Care Facilities. We have serviced Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, and Continuous Care Retirement Communities for over 20 years.
We pride ourselves in providing a high quality of care to our residents and facilities.
The ideal candidate will have long term care experience, however extensive clinical experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Hospital may be adequate for a motivated individual. For those with clinical experience, but no long term care experience, we provide training regarding the regulatory and clinical model of long term care.

Qualifications:
· Requires licensing in the State of Virginia.
· Experience working with the geriatric population (preferred)
· Experience collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records systems
- Must possess effective communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and facility staff
