Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a HR Consulting Summer Intern to join our Human Resources department. This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week, internship opportunity. Please note, this position is ineligible for benefits. Reporting to a Senior HR Generalist , the HR Consulting Summer Intern will assist in managing employee documentation and records, collaborate with our HR team to ensure data accuracy, contribute to process improvements, and support various HR projects. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop practical skills in HR and data management within a healthcare setting.
As an intern, you can expect to :
- Organize, review, and update employee profiles within the HR management system to ensure compliance with established guidelines and department standards
- Work closely with HR colleagues to maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records
- Accurately update and manage employee documents, ensuring they are properly filed and easily accessible
- Learn how a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) functions and how it contributes to optimizing data accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to process improvement projects focused on employee records and HR documentation
- Meet weekly goals related to record management objectives and help the team achieve milestones
- Assist in other HR projects as needed to support the department’s objectives
What is required :
The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00, which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
