Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Strategy Summer Intern to join our Strategy and Communications department. This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week, internship opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington D.C. with a hybrid work model. Please note, this position is ineligible for benefits. The summer internship program runs for about 12 weeks with a start date of June 4, 2025, and end date of August 15, 2025. Reporting to a Director of Regional Surgical Services Strategy , the Strategy Summer Intern will collaborate with the Director of Regional Surgical Services Strategy, Executive Consultants, and directly engage with physician executives to collaborate on projects that impact health care delivery. You will conduct market research to inform strategic planning, analyze data to identify insights, and assist in the development of key strategic initiatives. You will also support project management tasks by coordinating activities, scheduling meetings, and ensuring deadlines are met.
You can expect to :
- Market Research : Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to inform strategic planning initiatives
- Data Analysis : Analyze and synthesize data to uncover patterns, insights, and areas for improvement
- Strategic Planning : Assist in the development of strategic plans and initiatives, including drafting proposals and presentations for leadership
- Project Support : Coordinate tasks, schedule meetings, track progress, and ensure timely project completion
- Stakeholder Communication : Work closely with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on project progress
- Reporting : Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership
What is required :
The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00, which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
