Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for an Office of the President and Strategy Innovations Summer Intern to join our Office of the President and Strategy Innovations department. This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week, internship opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington D.C. with a hybrid work model . Reporting to the Chief of Staff , the Office of the President and Strategy Innovations Summer Intern will work on impactful, challenging projects in a professional setting that spans across consulting, analytics, strategy, communications, and executive leadership. This hands-on experience will provide exposure to innovative healthcare practices and strategic planning within a leading healthcare organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful projects aimed at improving healthcare delivery and organizational strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for graduate students interested in healthcare systems, consulting, project management, and strategic planning.
You can expect to :
- Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and Regional Co-Lead of Innovations and members of the team on high-profile projects aimed at improving the value of healthcare for consumers, employees, healthcare providers, and patients
- Aggregate data from patient satisfaction surveys and identifying key themes and trends
- Conduct research into healthcare verticals to support strategy innovation proposals
- Partner with your mentor to translate research and data into actionable insights for the organization
- Provide data to support the development of innovative proposals based on patient feedback and survey results
What is required :
The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00, which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
