Description

We invite applications for a full-time Cardiologist (Electrophysiologist) to support our D.C. / Suburban Maryland service area.
In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States we provide high-quality, patient centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.
MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.
What You Can Expect :
- Candidates will be performing left-side ablation, pulmonary vein isolation and VT ablation
- Candidates will be working with contemporary device implant and management
- 3 days of EP lab / procedure time.
- 2 days office time per week. Dedicated reading time for Device clinic.
- Call shared with other EPs in the region : 1 weekend in 4
- General Cardiology call 2 : weekends per year
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology
- Lead / device extraction is a preferred
- Interest in program building & leadership is preferred
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
- Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants
Our physicians also :
The starting annual salary for this position is $470,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
Effective July 1, 2025, the starting annual salary for this position will increase to $550,000.
