What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant position at Mid-Atlantic Spinal Rehab & Chiropractic?
We are in search of a friendly, energetic, and hard-working, addition to complete our staff. We provide on the job training to become a licensed Chiropractic Assistant. Experience with computers and customer service are a plus. Spanish speaking is very helpful!
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments by phone and follow up appointments in person.
- Accurately update and maintain Chiropractors schedules.
- Collect patient insurance information and submit to Office Manager for verification.
- Collect co-pays from patients.
- Assist doctors in the overall care and management of patients.
- Escort patients to each treatment area.
- Take vitals of each patient and record medical history.
- Check on patients undergoing unattended treatment.
- Supervise/instruct exercises as directed by the Doctor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in our office. Remote work is not an option.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of periods of standing and bending.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
