What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generator Tech, Field Service position at Mid-Cal Labor Solutions?
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Good technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Know how to use a multimeter.
- Must have own tools.
- Good computer skills.
- Work well with others and possess good people skills.
- Have a professional attitude, and be able to work with customers on a one-on-one basis.
- The job requires stooping, bending, climbing, and the capability of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Required on occasion to stay overnight at out-of-town locations.
- Required to be on call rotation 24 / 7 at times.
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record to be insured by the corporate insurance carrier.
- Must be DOT certifiable. (Must be 21 years of age to be DOT certified).
- Experience with diesel and / or gas engines including servicing and repairing.
- Have some Electrical experience and general knowledge of wiring including reading Diagrams, installation and repair of electrical components and circuits. AC and DC
- Power Generation experience.
