Hydrovac Driver / Operator
Location : Carlsbad, NM
Qualifications
CDL Class A
with Tanker Endorsement required
Must Pass Clearinghouse
Must be able to wear required PPE as assigned
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work extended hours if needed
Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather (hot, cold, ice, rain, etc.)
Responsibilities
Operates Hydrovac and other machines used in construction to excavate, load, dig, or break rocks or debris, dirt, or other materials
The Hydrovac Driver acts as the crew lead
Supplying a safe, effective, and professional service to our clients
Rigging equipment in and out
Staging equipment
Completing all required paperwork daily
Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching, and digging, using a high-pressure wand to loosen the soil and a vacuum system to remove the debris or build-up
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and as the need arises perform minor repairs to equipment
Properly document all client, Federal, State, and Customer paperwork as required by law and established policy in a clear and legible manner
Perform pre and post-trip inspections

JOB SUMMARY : The Hydrovac Operator is responsible for completing hydro excavation processes. Operate Hydrovac and other machines used in construction to excavate, load, dig, or break rocks or debris, dirt, or other materials. The Hydrovac Operator acts as crew lead and is responsible for the completion of projects in a safe and timely manner.
