THE POSITION…
As a Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming deliveries of manufactured parts to ensure quality and order accuracy in accordance with established procedures. You will collaborate with the Material Review Board to identify issues and follow up with corrective actions as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a high level of accuracy with a detail-focused approach. THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF…
- You have a high school diploma/GED.
- You have a minimum two years receiving inspection experience.
- You have experience with mechanical and electrical hand tools to include measurement instruments.
- You are highly proficient with a wide range of drawings, blueprints and standards.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You are organized, focused, and results oriented.
- You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
- You have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- You have relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT…
- Inspect incoming manufactured parts to determine conformance with specifications and released drawings with a high level of accuracy
- Perform critical dimensional measurements using standard mechanical and electrical instruments and functional gauges
- Interpret and read drawings and other types of specifications
- Validate the certificate of conformance, process tags, rework or non-conforming tags, or other associated documentation
- Actively participate on the Material Review Board for non-conforming parts disposition
- Record and maintain inspection records per Quality Management System requirements
- Assist Shipping/Receiving during high volume periods
- Constant handle, feel and manipulation of small objects
- Occasional lift and carry independently up to 50 lbs.
