- Provide leadership in all areas relating to the clinical operation of the health center.
- Recommend and implement general and dental clinical policies and procedures.
- Supervise the clinical staff in their dental and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
The Dental Director will be responsible for:
- Participating in the clinical program of the organization according to established guidelines.
- Providing outpatient care in the clinic and participating in night and weekend call.
- Maintaining licensure in good standing in the state of Arkansas.
- Organizing the clinical staff and resources to carry out the healthcare program of the community health center.
- Leading the community health center's recruiting efforts for all dental staff.
- Specifying the responsibilities, authority, and working relationships among the dental clinical staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A dentist's license to practice dentistry in the state of Arkansas.
- The ability to employ necessary management techniques in the ongoing supervision of the clinical staff.
- The ability to analyze complex information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
