As a Clinical Manager I, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies to maintain the highest standards of patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care services and implement improvements as necessary
- Recruit, train, and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered culture
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members
- Create staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage to meet patient needs
- Ensure efficient patient flow and optimize resources to minimize wait times and maximize patient satisfaction
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues in a timely and compassionate manner
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Collect and analyze data to track clinical performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in regulatory and accreditation compliance activities
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare management
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Qualifications
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) is preferred
- Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the management of a large technician team in an ophthalmology practice
- Proven clinical leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Must be willing to travel to other offices to meet the demands of the position
