PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience with math and reading interventions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
High School DiplomaAs partners in the instructional process, paraprofessionals who work in programs supported with Title I funds must meet one of the following requirements :Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hours); or
Obtain an associate's degree (or higher); orMeet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment. (Example : Work Keys Test, MTTC, ETS Parapro Assessment, etc.)Has demonstrated experience working with age level of students for positionHas undergone a physical examination, by a licensed physician, that documents capability to perform required dutiesHas an electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record checkExperience working in a setting dealing directly with children.Competency in oral and written communications.RESPONSIBILITIES :
Follow directives / lessons to provide evidence based instructional support in the areas of reading, and mathematics instructionProvide supplemental direct instruction is provided in small or individual group settingConduct ongoing progress monitoring of at-risk students and report to building administrator / teachers and communicate progress to classroom teacher, administrator and familiesProvide academic feedback to the families after program is completedKeep time and effort log that reflects what was taught and students who participated in the lessonParticipate in other building duties as assigned when neededAPPLICATION : Until Filled~Screening Begins Immediately
