The Elementary MTSS Teacher will implement the Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework to enhance academic and social-emotional outcomes for all students. The MTSS Teacher will work closely with classroom teachers and school administration to provide tiered support through interventions, data-driven instruction, and progress monitoring.

Salary Range : Starting pay 45,000.00

Pay increases based on experience.

Starting Date : Immediately

Retirement : 401K with 4% and another 4% matching by the school

  • Implement MTSS Strategies : Deliver high-quality instruction and interventions aligned with MTSS, addressing the academic, social, and behavioral needs of students.
  • Collaboration : Work with classroom teachers, special education staff, and administrators to create and maintain effective intervention strategies.
  • Data Analysis & Progress Monitoring : Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and guide instructional decisions.
  • Family Engagement : Collaborate with families to ensure effective communication and involve them in the intervention process.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, interventions, and outcomes for MTSS meetings.
  • Professional Development : Participate in ongoing training related to MTSS best practices and strategies for supporting diverse learners.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Education or a related area preferred.
  • Certification : Valid teaching license or certification in Elementary Education; endorsement or experience in MTSS, RTI, or special education preferred.
  • Experience : Previous experience working with elementary students in an MTSS, RTI, or special education setting is strongly preferred.
  • Skills : Strong background in data-driven instruction, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt instructional practices to meet diverse needs.

  • College transcripts, three references, and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.
