Student Services - Student Support Professional at Syring Elementary
Hours : 35 hrs / week
Qualifications : Must have a degree OR 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR have taken or will take and pass the ETS Parapro test before being hired.
Job Functions : The SSSP works with students who have specific disabilities and may require assistance with medical, behavior, or academic support. The SSSP works individually with students and also with teachers and administrators.
- Takes guidance from the Lead SSP, student services teaching staff, and principal to ensure students aresupported.
- Works closely with students who have disabilities and / or are at-risk, which may include but is not limited tomedical needs, academic needs, or behavior needs.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training is mandatory for employment.
- Assist in the development of PBIS support structures
- Other medical, academic, and behavior support duties as assigned
Wage : $13.00 per hour
