What are full-time employees eligible for at MMI?
- We offer up to three weeks of time off right in that first year of employment. You’re eligible to use it after 90 days, but you begin accruing on day 1!

Youth Services Manager
MMI is committed to creating inclusive communities and meaningful connections through employment and training. We are seeking compassionate individuals to get involved in the community and help persons served achieve their goals. As a Youth Services Manager some of your responsibilities will be:
- Provide oversight and direction for the staff for MMI’s Youth Programs funded by Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) and will serve as the professional liaison between MMI and the funding sources.
- Monitor staff activities and outcomes for individuals referred through programs funded by MRS, assuring that all activities, contracts, and worksites are following standards established by CARF, the funding sources and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Provide contract management and financial analysis for assigned programs.
- Participates in the on-call rotation and as a member of the agency leadership team.
- This position maintains a centralized office in MMI’s Mt Pleasant branch, but will travel frequently between the Isabella, Gratiot, Osceola, Mecosta, Gladwin and Montcalm sites.
- Duties include staff selection, training, performance evaluation, and monitoring of program outcomes and oversees all assigned Youth Program Staff.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Human Service field. Experience in classroom instruction or in youth development services.
- Prior supervisory experience in education, human services or related field.
- Applicant must be computer literate and possess excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills along with a professional demeanor.
- Experience in vocational counseling or case management.
- Able to communicate effectively with the business community, funding sources, participants, and staff.
- Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of Master’s degree in a related field.
- Management/administrative experience in business, case management, rehabilitation or in the education field.
- Experience with MRS regulations, or with teaching adolescents.
- Two years supervisory experience.
