Job Description
The ticketing / admissions team scans online tickets, sells tickets, accepts payments, confirms purchases, provides information to customers, and handles administrative tasks that are necessary for maintaining an organized work area. These people must be good communicators and have exceptional fiscal management skills
*We are currently looking for candidates with weekend / night availability*
Essential Job Functions
- Greet customers in a friendly manner as they approach the ticketing counter.
- Scan in online tickets with scanner device.
- Accept payment in exchange of tickets sold and give back any due change.
- Create and maintain reports of sold tickets and payments received.
- Properly operate a cash register in accordance with events cash handling policies and procedures, including operating a credit card machine and handling cash.
- Provide customers with information regarding the experiences we offer.
- Be knowledgeable of the experience in order to upsell tickets and other event amenities.
- Responsible for following rules, regulations and guidelines set forth by “Mid Minnesota Entertainment” best practices as they pertain to the experience.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a box office/ticketing setting is preferable.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize duties for effective and successful events.
- Availability to work extended hours, nights and weekends.
- Must be dedicated, reliable and punctual.
- Intermediate to advanced Customer Service experience.
- Demonstrate positive and professional behavior towards attendees and co-workers.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and be a team player.
- Weekend/ night availability is a must.
Location
WYOMING, MINNESOTA
Compensation:
- Hourly pay ranging from $12.25 to $16.00
Employment Length:
- Approximately 1.5 months
Typical Schedule:
- Start time: 5:30-6:30 pm
- Weekly hours: 10-40 hours (subject to variation)
