Mid-Ohio Pipeline is searching for a Project Manager with a Telecom focus. The preferred location for this role is our Lexington, Ohio office. The Project Manager will support activities throughout project lifecycle, including oversight of quality control and safety. Includes the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, required documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success. Prepare estimates, roll-ups project proposals and budgets as requested by Project Manager. Maintains solid customer relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES : In support of Superintendents, reviews and determines project goals and timelines for each awarded project, defining objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown, milestones and deliverables.Manage project startup, including securing ROW permits, OUPS tickets and other requirements.Manage and develop budgets, estimates, construction schedules, progress, cost trackers and monthly reports.Manage financial analysis and reporting of projects (WIPs) on a weekly basis.Attending project pre-bid and owner / contractor / engineer meetings as required, takes appropriate notes to document discussions and copies supervisor if requested.Conduct or support site meetings, RFI's, invoices, change orders and control document process.Communicate with a variety of stakeholders including site superintendents, sub-contractors, engineers, and estimators.Identify any conflicts within project teams and seek Director support for contingency plan.Maintain relationships with customers and regulatory counterparts.Actively participate in programs, policies and initiatives designed to enhance the overall good of the company and parent corporation.Verify & maintain appropriate operator qualifications.Additional duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS :
Good communication, organizational, reading and time management skills.Ability to read and interpret documents, safety manuals, standards, technical procedures, and drawings.Ability to learn and implement new software programs as required to support company / department initiatives.Ability to analyze, make decisions and document decision process.Willingness to keep current with continuing education as necessary.Actively participate in programs and initiatives designed to enhance the overall good of the company, including sister company support as needed.EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Preferred college degree or 5 years of construction management experience with telecom focus.Experience with P6 System.Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, and required standards applicable to discipline.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Bluebeam / Adobe Pro, estimating software, file sharing systems; typing skills necessary.Ability to assume responsibility and interface / communicate effectively with others.Valid state driver's license and able to travel as needed for project and document support.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
