Job Title: Full-Time Farmhand
Location: New Concord, OH
Pay: Starting at $16/hr
About the Farm:
We are a hardworking, family-owned farm located in New Concord, OH. We are looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our team. Our farm operates with a strong sense of family, teamwork, and dedication to producing quality goods.
Position Overview:
As a Farmhand, you will be responsible for assisting with daily farm operations, helping with a variety of tasks, and supporting the farm's overall success. This is a full-time, hands-on role with a Monday to Friday schedule, with the possibility of occasional evening and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily farm tasks, including feeding animals, milking, cleaning barns, and maintaining equipment.
- Help with planting, watering, and harvesting crops.
- Assist with maintaining farm infrastructure, including fences, buildings, and other structures.
- Help with general farm maintenance, including repairs and upkeep of farm vehicles and tools.
- Operate farm equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure the smooth running of the farm.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior farm or manual labor experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license and transportation to and from the farm.
