Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with various RV systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Repair or replace faulty components and systems such as appliances, brakes, and axles
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs
- Keep detailed records of services performed on each RV
- Stay updated with the latest technology and techniques in RV maintenance and repair
- Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices when necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in RV repair .
- Proven experience as an RV technician or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
