The Senior Financial Center Associate is responsible for managing the operations of the financial center staff to ensure the delivery of superior quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory and audit guidelines. This individual assists with supervising the financial center staff and is expected to have a working knowledge of all essential duties assigned to the financial center team. The Senior Financial Center Associate works closely with financial center management to set goals for the staff and ensure achievement of those goals. In addition, this individual assists customers by opening accounts as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform Financial Center operational duties by conducting paying and receiving activities accurately within the guidelines of the bank's Financial Center Guidelines.
- Operate and balance cash drawer accurately and efficiently.
- Provide customer service including, but not limited to, processing and settling transactions and assisting customers by telephone or personal contact.
- Maintain appropriate cash levels in the financial center and ensure appropriate cash levels are maintained by individual.
- Actively participate and promote financial center sales and service programs and team events.
- Have a working knowledge of all essential duties assigned to the Financial Center team.
- Ensure financial center associates are accurately operating a drawer and back counter processing system.
- Manage the daily settlement of the ATM.
- Accurately handle incoming and outgoing vault transactions; prepare vault settlement report daily and monitor vault security.
- Provide safe deposit box services to customers as needed.
- Order all currency and coin for the office; ship extra money.
- Effectively manage time to ensure required operational duties such as, ATM settlement, financial center capture, audits, etc. are completed on time and in an efficient manner.
- Oversee and ensure that the financial center line operates in compliance with the organization's operating policies/procedures related to the processing of deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and currency transaction reporting to satisfy all federal and state regulations.
- Authorize payment of checks above the financial center limit.
- Maintain security controls to protect the facility against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure.
- Ensure the preparation of reports as assigned by financial center management.
- Assist financial center management in monitoring over and short records following the Financial Center Guidelines.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in related positions preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as required to meet operating needs.
- Notary experience preferred or ability to obtain notary as needed.
