Position: Mid-Plains Community College seeks a positive, detail and team-oriented individual to join our Registration & Records team as the Academic Records Specialist Duties include:
- Manage MPCC’s degree audit process and graduate list for the commencement program.
- Manage area-wide issuance of official transcripts and diploma orders.
- Process degree verifications and transmit conferrals to the National Student Clearinghouse.
- Is the primary central records contact for the MPCC area.
This full-time position is an integral part of the Registration & Records team and a bridge between academic and student services, adheres to FERPA guidelines in maintaining the confidentiality of student information, and assists in transforming the lives of our students by providing exceptional customer service so students are successful in transferring to another institution, into the workforce, or for licensing/certification. This position is primarily located on the North Platte South Campus but travel to other campuses may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree or five years of experience within an educational setting. Background in admissions, registration, advising, and/or student services preferred. Must have excellent computer and communication skills and the ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
