Duties And Responsibilities
- Researching and analyzing data such as customer design proposals, and specifications to determine feasibility of design or application
- Create 3D designs according to quote/proposal utilizing SolidWorks and Inventor including skeletal modeling
- Working knowledge of manufacturing fabrication/machining techniques, mechanical assembly, and blue-print reading/inspection are required job skills
- Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them
- Ability to weigh risks and make decisions
- Creating plans and designs using AutoCAD technology
- Interact with other departments to determine potential problems and provide feasible solutions
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents and OSHA regulations
- All other duties assigned
Required Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge Of
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Computer skills
- Basic knowledge of Office applications including excel and word
- Some working knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor AutoCAD, or relative engineering software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving and organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
- Work independently with little direction
- Work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Must be able to establish good working relationship with many individuals
- Problem solve to identify uses and create action steps
- Understand complex, multi-step written and oral instructions
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift or move 10 pounds
