Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Purpose:

Responsible for selling, stocking, shipping and receiving of parts and accessories.

Responsibilities:

· Promotes and sells products and or services to meet customer needs

· Supplies service technicians with parts as required

· Verifies receipting in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders

· Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly

· Follows up on shortages/backorders and expedites issues by reporting to the manager

· Performs cycle counts on a daily basis

· Puts away stock and keeps warehouse clean and orderly

Job Requirements

· Superior customer service skills

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Basic data entry/keyboarding skills

· Basic parts and machinery knowledge

· Ability to lift items weight up to 75 pounds

· Able to work some weekends as needed

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Have a driver’s license

• Ability to get around the dealership and grounds for various tasks.

• Ability to be on one's feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb a ladder with the ability to carry an object while climbing.
• Ability to operate equipment or other power equipment as necessary.
• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs. of force.
• Must meet health assessment requirements.
