Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating grinding machines to produce precision components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate and maintain grinding machines, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Perform precision grinding tasks on various materials to meet specified tolerances and dimensions.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of finished products.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in other machining processes as needed, including CNC operations, electrical discharge machining, and plasma cutting.
Skills
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for quality control.
- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining and CNC machinery is preferred.
- Experience with sheet metal work, stamping presses, and welding techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
