Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee and execute complex commercial roofing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be an organized, results-driven professional with extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of commercial roofing projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and direct foremen, crews, and subcontractors to maintain high levels of efficiency and productivity.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Management: Prepare project budgets, track expenses, and control costs to meet financial goals.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely material delivery and resource allocation.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce Mid-South’s safety standards and ensure all projects comply with OSHA regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and closeout paperwork.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, including unforeseen delays, resource conflicts, and client concerns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management for commercial roofing, specifically in low-slope roofing systems.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead teams and interact with clients.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
