Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tower Tech II or III to join our dynamic team. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment. The Candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols.
Job Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile and UHF/VHF tower equipment.
- Microwave Installations, Troubleshooting and Inspections
- Proficient installation of fiber and power to include testing of fibers
- Tower cable changeouts, plumb & tension to include all types of tower modifications
- Conducting routine inspections and ensuring structural integrity
- Following safety protocols and compliance regulations
- Completing closeout requirements on time and accurately
- Working at heights and handling specialized tools
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Must know about ANSI 10.48
- Looking for climbers with Anritsu, ATC200-lite, ODM and JDSU fiber experience.
- Looking for knowledge At-t, Verizon & T-Mobile installs
- Must be able to read Cd’s and RFDS
- Knowledge of tower safety protocols and RF Awareness, climber /rescue, rigging Etc.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Must pass a urinalysis test
- Valid and clean driver’s license, Class (A) a plus
- NWSA certified
