1. Agricultural Equipment Products Sales
a. Be responsible for inside and outside sales of consumer products and equipment to current and potential customers, government entities, including coordinating appropriate discounts and completing all required paperwork.
b. Ensure collection of payment at time of sale.
c. Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
d. Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading and reconditioning purposes.
e. Follow-up on new leads and referrals and follow-up with customers after sale is completed to ensure product and sale satisfaction.
f. Maintain sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory.
g. Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
h. Conduct new equipment field demonstrations and coordinate retail sales activities for products.
i. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, county fairs and telemarketing events.
j. Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
k. Coordinate lawn and garden equipment servicing needs with the Service Department to accommodate customer needs and the overall service department schedule.
l. Organize, arrange and keep clean all indoor/outdoor retail displays with particular attention to detail with lot maintenance.
m. Maintain current product information and knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques and coordinate product advertisements for local promotions and newspapers.
n. Requires the possession of a valid state driver's license.
o. All information including customer lists and inventories are company property and confidential information. Upon termination of your employment at the Company, you are required to return all such records to the Company and may not retain any copy of any such records or make any notes regarding such records.

2. Communication and Coordination Activities
a. Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly.
b. Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management.
c. Maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere among company personnel so that a pleasant working environment exists. Work toward a smooth and efficient functioning of daily operations.
d. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
e. Maintain a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
f. Serve as a member of the Mid-State sales force. Communicate regularly with all other operating departments to assure good working relationships and the pursuit and achievement of company-wide goals.
g. Other special projects as requested by Management.
