As a working foreman you will be responsible for supervising a crew of Journeymen Industrial Mechanics and also performing hands on work yourself.

Key Responsibilities:
- Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary.
- Record repairs and maintenance performed.
- Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.
- Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.
- Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance.
- Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
- Investigate accidents or injuries and prepare reports of findings.
- Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
- Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using devices such as hand tools or gauges to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements.
- Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.
- Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.
- Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as discharges, or disciplinary measures.
- Compile operational or personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair or maintenance statistics, or test results.
- Operate heavy machinery such as manlifts, forklifts, and cranes.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using various testing devices.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
- Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
- Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- This position requires daily travel to various client worksites mostly within the State of Florida. 15% travel outside of Florida but within the United States. Frequent overnight travel.

Work Location and Travel:
- The main office is located at 1171 Grill Road, Van Wert, Ohio 45891.
- Travel to client and customer sites is required.
- Days and hours of work may vary at times to include some evenings and weekends.
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary (Monday to Sunday with some overnight work) and overtime is frequently required.
- This position is safety sensitive in nature, which means employees perform duties so fraught with risks of injury to self or others, or environmental injury, that even a momentary lapse of concentration or attention can have disastrous consequences.
- The working environment is often in harsh elements (hot/humid and/or cold temperatures, rain, etc.) Industrial environments often have exposure to hazardous chemicals, moving heavy equipment, and other safety-sensitive hazards/risks. Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others.
