Marine Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marine maintenance and diagnostics, with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of marine outboards/sterndrives, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on marine outboards/sterndrives to ensure peak performance.
• Assemble and rig components as required for different types of marine equipment.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal techniques to perform repairs and modifications.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their marine equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in marine maintenance on Mercury/Mercruiser, Yamaha, Suzuki.
• Ability to provide necessary basic tools.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
• Familiarity with assembling and rigging components for marine applications.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to safety practices and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
