POSITION : AM Technician III
Location : Atwater, CA
Schedule : Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the Technician III is responsible for maintaining company-owned equipment in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This includes diagnosing and addressing repair needs, performing engine diagnostics, and conducting repairs on electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, steering, and more. The role also involves preventive maintenance and responding to service calls.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all company equipment, including road calls.
- Document parts, time, and descriptions of repairs at the end of each task.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues from DVIRs, communicating necessary repairs.
- Utilize resources like Engine and Chassis Manufacturers' websites and proprietary software for diagnostics.
- Perform welding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Proactively communicate issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to maximizing uptime and operational goals.
- Wash equipment when necessary.
- Attend vendor and company-sponsored training sessions.
