POSITION : (MRF) Maintenance Mechanic
Location : 2721 S Elm Ave, Fresno, CA 93722
Rate of Pay : $18 - $22 per hour
Schedule : Monday through Saturday

JOB SUMMARY :
Reporting to the MRF Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic I is responsible for performing daily inspections and maintaining the MRF area clean and functional. You will assist with rolling stock and ensure all efforts align with the company's health, safety, and environmental standards. The role may also include operating power equipment to assist in the movement and flow of materials within the facility.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Provide exemplary customer service to all customers, managers, and employees.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Foster a company culture consistent with the organization’s values.
- Maintain reliable, consistent attendance.
- Strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Perform daily inspections and cleaning of the MRF.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs on MRF equipment, such as conveyors and bailers.
- Operate power equipment to move materials and ensure clean, safe work areas to avoid cross-contamination and downtime.
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions or service-related issues to the supervisor.
- Conduct wheel cleaning on commercial and MRF sort lines.
- Attend and participate in required training programs, briefings, and meetings.
- Notify supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to operate power tools and equipment.
