POSITION SUMMARY :
The HR / Payroll and Business Office Manager will coordinate operation of the Community’s payroll, business office, and Human Resources functions as required as well as manage the receptionist staff in accordance with Community policies and state and federal regulations.
Education & Qualifications :
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. An Associate’s Degree, or higher in Accounting, Finance or Human Resourced is preferred, but not required.Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, support agencies and community staff in the performance of duties.Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position / assignment.Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.Experience :
Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year(s) experience in a long-term care business office, Payroll, HR Administration, or other related healthcare setting.Must have Medicaid experience.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must possess a working knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning payroll / personnel administration in nursing care facilities, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, Workers compensation & unemployment.Previous experience in long term care preferred but not required.Shift & Wage :
