What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Packer Technician position at Mid-West Fabricating Co?
Inspect and insure acceptable product is released to inventory and shipping.
Description of Work Performed:
- Inspect painted parts for coating and other defects and disposition accordingly.
- Ensure daily schedule / requirements are inspected & packed.
- Use of folk truck may be required on occasion.
- Perform sorting operations as directed and according to work instructions.
- Interact with PLEX ERP system to record production, print labels, label containers.
- View, read, & comprehend Customer Appearance Specifications located in PLEX.
- Use of attribute gages to determine part acceptance.
- Locate, obtain, & move packaging materials to & from work stations.
- Maintain work stations in a clean & orderly fashion.
- Perform tasks as directed by Team Leader.
