Midwest Direct is looking for Part Time Technician for PM Shift!
Job duties include:
- Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, air guns, solvents, cloths, vacuum or other appliances
- Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair
- Examine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements
- Replace, fix or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications
- Application of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment’s in accordance with stated procedures
- Put machine parts together after accomplishing maintenance and repair work
Schedule:
- Flexible days/hours
- Typical start time: 4PM
Compensation:
- $20,000 to $25,000 annually

Qualifications/Skills
- Basic comprehension & understanding of the English language to be able to follow safety protocols and other operational directions.
- A minimum of one year experience in maintaining, repairing, or installing mailing or comparable equipment
- Experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment with at least one year of break/fix mechanical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.
- Must have mechanical and electrical ability, Basic Microsoft Windows or Linux skills, a willingness to learn, follow directions and be a self-starter. Will train the right candidate.
Physical demands and abilities:
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations
- The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
MUST be able to pass criminal background check and drug test!
