About the Role:

The Product Information Team is responsible for assisting in the management and improvement of product data for the Banner Solutions item master through line reviews, price updates, daily edit requests, and special projects as determined by the Project Information Manager and SVP of Supply Chain.

Product Information is also responsible for the data enrichment, maintenance, and expansion of the BannerSolutions.com product offering, maintenance/updates to Akeneo PIM, and product information support for other e-commerce projects/initiatives.

The Product Information Specialist is a full-time position requiring strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the opportunity to substantially impact profitability and efficiency throughout the company. This is a role that presents challenging problems to solve, while providing exposure to a wide-range of job functions, as well as an excellent opportunity for growth potential.

Responsibilities:

• Research and source product specific images for all items enabled on BannerSolutions.com as well as all other items in the Akeneo PIM
• Manage and maintain supplier catalog and pricebook listings for bannersolutions.com
• Assist Sr Product Information Specialist with enrichment of product information for all items within PIM as directed by Product Information Manager
• Assist Product Information Manager with execution of manufacturer price updates and line reviews as needed
• Assist with Product Information trouble tickets and new item creation as needed
• Support Product Information projects and initiatives as directed by Product Information Manager

What you will need to succeed

• 2 years experience in one or more of the following:
  1. Product information management/analytics
  2. Image creation/editing (Photoshop or similar)
  3. Commercial Hardware sales/support
• Proven data management experience
  1. Proficient Microsoft Excel user including pivot tables, VBA macros a plus
  2. SQL querying skills to extract and analyze data from various sources
  3. Proficiency in photoshop or similar image editing software
• Previous experience in any of the following is a bonus, but not required
  1. P21 Epicor or similar ERP
  2. Akeneo or other similar Product Information Management software
• BS/BA Information Management or equivalent
  1. HS diploma/GED equivalent for internal
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple individual & team tasks
• Strong research skills
• Keen focus on accurate and consistent work
• Clear and professional communication skills with cross-functional colleagues
• Communicates with accuracy, professionalism, and kindness in all interactions
• Responds to requests in a timely and professional manner
• Outstanding personal integrity and ethics
