Program Coordinator Job Summary:
This Program Coordinator position provides direct support to Program Management, guiding staff to proper procedures and processes, working to streamline existing processes, processing bill payments to landlords, monitoring grant spend down, and verifying data entry collection.
The person in this role will answer funding, eligibility, and grant compliance questions for team staff and clients. This is a grant-funded position aimed at providing case management and rental assistance to chronically homeless individuals and families in the Polk Counties.
Responsibilities
- Guides staff to proper procedures and processes, working to streamline existing processes.
- Monitors grant spend down and verifies data entry collection.
- Answers funding, eligibility, and grant compliance questions for team staff and clients.
- Creates and facilitates deposit only households.
- Serves as a team lead point person for staff or clientele questions regarding service delivery.
- Works with staff to maintain file compliance and a regular audit system.
- Provides training opportunities to new staff as it relates to their goals for growth within the agency.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field;
- Two years of grant compliance or social service experience;
- Ideal candidates will possess an advanced degree with two or more years of homeless service delivery experience.
