Program Coordinator -The ARCHES Project- Housing

The Health Related Social Needs (HRSN) Program Coordinator III is responsible for monitoring the Heath-Related Social Needs initiative within the ARCHES Project. The person in this position will monitor contract compliance, oversee spend down rates, data reporting and/or client participation, and adhere to ARCHES funder requirements. The HRSN Program Coordinator III will also be the contact point for questions from recipients.

Candidates must submit applications by 4/30/2025 in order to be considered for first round interviews.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school Diploma or GED.

  • Two years of social services experience, preferably direct service delivery with a vulnerable client population.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Driver qualifications required for this position. Valid driver license, insured vehicle available for use on the job, and a satisfactory drive record for the past 3 years are required.

  • Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification is required within first 30 days of hire.

  • Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.

  • Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Basic proficiencies in computers, and MS Office products, database software and web tools. Must possess excellent planning, organization and time management skills.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; write reports and business correspondence.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

  • Assists in drafting contracts and/or Memoranda of Understanding between the Agency and recipients.

  • Responsible for training recipients to be compliant with terms outlined by the Agency, including how to verify eligibility and data collection and reporting.

  • Monitors current contracts for compliance, spend-down rates, and HRSN participation.

  • Works within client management software to evaluate all Agency programs, as well as recipient data quality.

  • Acts as primary point of contact between the HRSN Agency and other entities. Works collaboratively to troubleshoot various incoming issues.

  • Tracks all data related to recipient funding, processes billing payments, and coordinates with data entry team to ensure accuracy in Agency systems and databases.

  • Provides front-line technical support and assistance for Agency client management software users such as: resetting passwords, troubleshooting user issues, problem-solving data entry roadblocks, and other program-level issues.

  • Ensures client management software entries comply with Agency data system requirements.

  • Provides support to internal and external stakeholders by monitoring progress of client management software usage. Helps develop strategies to improve ease of use with client management software users.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory duties in this position.

  • Frequently lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Frequent driving in all weather conditions to perform duties at Agency sites or client locations.

  • Regulates emotions and handles pressure of frequent demands for attention, time and work tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Indoor work environment with frequent interruptions and demands.

  • Works with clients over the phone and in person.

  • Occasional exposure to outside weather elements.

  • Occasional urgent situations requiring law enforcement involvement and/or paramedic professionals.

  • Close quarters, often with a client population experiencing homelessness, substance us disorders, and/or severe and persistent mental illness, and/or unpredictable behavior.

  • Occasional exposure to trash, bodily fluids and malodorous air.

  • On-site work, with variable and flexible work hours, is required.
