What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Readiness Support Analyst position at MidAmerican Energy Company?
This position provides support for software development, implementation and maintenance of tools that support business readiness. This individual is responsible for maintaining and refining the business readiness framework and supporting the coordination of regular updates to go-live readiness criteria and executive readouts in preparation for go-lives. Participates with change management team members in solutioning improvements to current change management processes. Participates in formulating, evaluating, selecting, developing and implementing new or revised systems and procedures that benefit project deployment.
Apply a structured methodology to complete business readiness activities through the creation and development of tools and metrics analysis dashboards that enable business and project teams to determine readiness.
Define and develop performance metrics; analyze and recommend data collection process improvements; and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics. Leverage developed business readiness processes and tools to assist in the creation of a strategy supporting the adoption of changes required by projects or initiatives.
Plan for an integrated view of all project deployment activities, setting up a single structure that manages both project-owned and business-owned activities. Engage with business representatives who have the knowledge and authority to plan for deployment.
Track people, process, and technology readiness tasks. Ensure business representatives understand their project contacts, and project members understand their stakeholders. Facilitate projects to analyze and recommend improvements to internal processes and standards, making operations more efficient and cost-effective.
Ensure accurate reporting and escalation of risks.
Support senior business leaders and their teams to prepare them for initiative go-lives. Discuss plans to effectively lead through go-live challenges and manage expectations.
Provide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform solutions that meet customer requirements. Present tailored demonstrations of the solutions. Serve as a Microsoft Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expertise in system architecture, solution design, configuration, and security management.
Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (typically four years of related, progressive work experience for candidates without a bachelor's degree).
Two or more years of relevant experience in a business analytics role.
1 to 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps and/or Power Automate is preferred.
Proficiency in SharePoint.
Experience with JSON, Amazon Web Services, HTML, or other computer programming is valued.
Experience developing and implementing business analytics to drive clear outcomes.
