Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to automotive maintenance and repair.
Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension repairs
- Utilize automotive diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems or areas of concern
- Complete repairs according to established guidelines and specifications
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate equipment as needed
- Experience working in a dealership setting is preferred
- Welding experience is a plus
