- Perform diagnostics and testing on various vehicle systems, including cooling, starting & charging, A/C, and engine.
- Conduct cooling system testing and radiator replacements.
- Perform muffler repairs and exhaust replacements.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, oil changes, and courtesy inspections.
- Conduct tire repairs, installations, steering & suspension, and alignments.
- Utilize shop equipment, including lifts, tire change equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools, efficiently and safely.
- Follow all safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
- Test drive vehicle to make sure vehicle meets all safety requirements before returning it to the customer.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
- Strong diagnostic skills for a variety of automotive systems.
- Experience with both foreign and domestic vehicles.
- Possession of personal tools is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bending, reaching, and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
