What you'll be doing:
- Lead the creation, updating, and administration of the New Hire Onboarding process.
- Oversight and training on all aspects of HRIS.
- Oversight and administration of substance abuse policy and testing process.
- Process unemployment claims, background checks, employment verification requests and other miscellaneous items as required.
- Compile necessary documentation for terminations and unemployment claims to submit in a timely manner.
- Determination and facilitation of FMLA or other related leave programs.
- Aid departments heads regarding reduction of turnover.
- Manage the Performance Review and Alignment program.
- Acts as coach to managers on employee performance, employee relations issues and other people management programs.
- Maintains a professional working relationship and promotes open lines of communication with managers, employees, and other departments.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR related matters and information.
- Creation and delivery of HR-related training programs.
- Processing of payroll and associated functions.
- Benefit inquiries and enrollment process.
What we're looking for:
- 5 years of HR related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field, preferred.
- Knowledge of all human resource functions performed by HR Managers and HR Administrators.
- Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal laws for Human Resources.
- Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control.
- Exceptional work ethic.
- Confidential, credible, and ethical.
- Flexible and willing to make difficult decisions.
