About the Role:
As an ACF Shipping and Inventory Clerk, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly. From managing shipments and inventory to supporting our production team with material preparation, you’ll help ensure that everything is in place for our products to shine. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Inventory: Order, store, and organize shipping materials and supplies, and track inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Shipping & Receiving: Prepare shipping documents, pack, crate, and label products for delivery, and ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Material Handling: Pull materials for upcoming work orders, build pallets and crates, and ensure product accuracy by documenting damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Coordinate Shipments: Communicate with vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any shipping issues.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move materials around the shop and warehouse.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas organized and clean, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and labeled.
- Collaborate with Production: Work closely with the production team to understand material needs and ensure they have everything they require to meet project deadlines.
- Assist Management: Help coordinate equipment repairs and other operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma (or equivalent).
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in inventory management, shipping, or a related field (experience in woodworking or construction is a plus!).
- OSHA 10/OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Innergy Software is preferred.
- Certified to operate mobile equipment and hold a valid Class-C Commercial Driver's License (DOT).
