Role Description
We are seeking Pharmacy Technicians with the following qualifications:
- Hospital inpatient pharmacy experience is required.
- Proficiency in utilizing automated dispensing cabinets (e.g., Pyxis) and performing unit dose preparation (solid and liquid formulations) is essential.
- Preferred skills include:
- Experience with sterile compounding of IV medications.
- Proficiency in Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Job Details:
- Role/ Title: Pharmacy Technician
- Location: Renton, Washington
- Duration: 12 Weeks
- Shift: Evening shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm), 5x8s, every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 40
Pay Package:
- Hourly Pay: $49
- Gross Weekly: $1,960
- Non-Taxable Pay/ Stipend: $1,176
- Taxable Pay: $784
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Prescription processing and Pharmacy operations
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficiency in Inventory Control and Customer Service
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with specialized pharmacy software is a plus
- High School diploma or equivalent
