What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at Midas Consulting?
Duties:
- Perform routine nuclear medicine imaging, including complex examinations, as prescribed by a physician. This may involve attenuation correction and/or diagnostic CT studies.
- The majority of scans will include general Nuclear Medicine imaging and PET/CT scans for oncology, with concurrently acquired diagnostic CT imaging.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients and adhere to departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Technologist cross-trained in both NM and CT.
- Advanced CT Licensure.
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current BLS certification.
